The Godfather 1972
Immediately after watching it, The Godfather became my favorite movie. At its core, it's a character drama disguised as a crime movie. I think it uses every minute of it's almost 3 hour runtime beautifully and I don't have much to criticize it for. I'd say this is a must-see if you haven't already.

This isn't a great movie but I love it. The A plot is honestly kind of weak but the B plot with Rodney Dangerfield is fantastic. Definitely deserves it's cult-classic status in my opinion.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie 2023
Overall I liked this movie. It was fun, the animation was great, and the voice cast did a good job in my opinion. I really liked Jack Black as Bowser and Charlie Day as Luigi in particular. There are tons of Nintendo references throughout, but sometimes I feel like they lean a little too hard on them. However, the plot was very basic. It felt rushed and I think it would have benefited from a slightly longer runtime to flesh…
