Watched this in my film class, and I totally get why they show it. For the time period, this is a masterpiece. The set and costume design was great. Loved the practical effects of some shots (el rancho nightclub, the painting shot). Loved seeing the aging of Kane and his character progression. Also thought the story timeline was interesting, relying solely on flashbacks with certain transitions. Overall, a very beautiful film that redefined cinema.

This one is fun!! A little cliche but like love, death, and robots so it’s okay

Watched this on a whim last minute at 10:30 with my friend. SOOOOO glad I went.

Loved the acting and the chemistry in this movie. The scenes felt so real, intimate, and private. Nicole Kidman was amazing and yes Harris Dickinson was nice to look at.

Cinematography, lighting, music, and sound were all👍.

Overall, very much enjoyed this one. I live for a good drama and the way this one flowed so fluidly kept me locked in. 5 stars because I honestly really liked it and can’t think of anything bad.

Thankfully I was able to see this gem for the last showing before it left theaters, because wow this was amazing to experience on the big screen.

The cinematography was outstanding. Whatever lens they used to film this created something beautiful. It felt like each shot was executed perfectly for a reason. This created a very feel good watch, with certain scenes that had me feeling euphoric and emotional. However, at times the scenes felt choppy. They were swapping shots…
