Several months after my first viewing of this film, I decided to give it a re-watch. I was not disappointed. Although it's a pretty silly story and concept, it's also a love letter to filmmaking. I would definitely recommend this flick if you are looking for something that's light, fun, and not meant to be taken seriously.

Unlike most films I've seen, Kar-wai's unique storytelling approach kept me wondering where the plot was going, and what the focus was supposed to be about in this film. There was a lot of elegance in the way the film followed the two different police officers as they tried to find love in a world with ever-moving parts and the parallelism between their two stories.
