  Pros:
  - Absolutely gripping emotional ride. Thrilling, tense, horrifying, and beautiful.
  - A twist that completely floors you and puts the whole thing in perspective.
  - Great direction and pacing the whole time.

  Cons:
  - The crazy swelling triumphant music at the end is a little distracting. 
  - The texting each other effect was pretty cringey and took your out of the otherwise realistic and grounded film.

  AUM: The Cult at the End of the World 2023

  Got to ask directors about interviewing Joyu in the Q&A afterwards.

  Pros:
  -Great usage of archive footage from TV and Aum itself.
  - You can feel the dynamic between the American and Japanese directors, showing the cult as both an international and very Japanese subject.
  - Get into the weeds with some fun and interesting details (more Aum anime please)

  Cons:
  - A lot of the editing looked cheap, like it was done on iMovie.
  - The interviewees unfortunately didn’t…
