Rise of the Planet of the Apes

The characterization of these apes is genuinely outstanding, they're all so memorable and the CGI makes them all stand out in various ways. Its genuinely impressive how such a weird premise was executed so perfectly.
We watch the start of a civilisation form, how one action has a massive butterfly effect that changes the course of the world. Caesar's existence is a representation of the greed that humans wanted to have it all and a blessing for the world to…

    Nosferatu

Ellen's fight against her own eroticism is the only interesting thing in this movie. Her Eroticism takes shape of a large, skinny ass, rich Romanian guy, whos dead boner is so large that hes willing to kill thousands for some English ass (relatable).

Mr Boner Vampire displays everything she fears about her desires: how its foreign to her, shamed by others; viewed as disgusting and sick by both her and the people around her and the fact that he wont…

I always found comedies about World War Two to be either insensitive or lacking in plot for the sake of its jokes but Jojo Rabbit doesn't shy away from becoming a mix of witty humour and emotionally devastating moments.
What I find most important is that Hitler is the main joke of the film: not Jojo, not his mother or anyone else in the movie. While some are more comedic than others, the film portrays these characters as what they…

    The Muppet Christmas Carol

    ★★★★½

I used this movie as my gcse revision back in high-school, the muppets have always been a big influence on my life so the prospect of me getting to watch them semi regularly made the exam period much more bareable.

Jim Henson created characters that act so human that you sometimes get lost in the fact that they arent real. Hes created magic, the illusion of life within these muppets which makes every movie so much more special and loveable.

    Gonzo is the best btw.
