  Really enjoyed. The mood and aesthetic, especially with the practical effects, resembles that of films released at the era of where it’s canonically filmed which was a nice touch.

  Went into this film hoping it’d be a cinematic masterpiece. A film that would change the landscape of horror films forever and bring about world peace for mankind. 

  However, to my absolute horror, it failed to deliver these results. It felt more like a fan-made film with lacklustre jump scares suffering from an identity crisis. As the credits rolled up, I was in tears, shaking uncontrollably.

  All jokes aside…Matthew Lillard was beautiful as expected and the animatronics looked great. I am genuinely disappointed that it wasn’t as good as it could have been. It’s watchable though

  Slender Man 2018

  Some people have healthy ways to deal with safe hatred. My coping mechanism is to watch films like these in the hopes that all the hate will be redirected and slowly disappear as the credits roll.

  It doesn’t work. Not only do I still want to throw myself into oncoming traffic, I also wasted 1hr and 40 minutes of time I could’ve invested into therapy. :)
