I feel like I can’t evaluate the this film overall because the dialogue seemed way above my intellectual capacity so it got me feeling 😵💫😵💫 but that kind of feeling also leaves me amazed at the flow of events. Anyway, that is why I don’t think I can give a rating.

Second time watching this as I write this review. Still one of my favourites! I wish I could watch it for the first time again.
It’s such a simple plot but has an amazing level of emotional depth. All the characters feel real and loveable. The filming style (hand-held shots, as if it’s following these characters) is fitting and so comforting. Makes me want to cradle the film in my arms.
Bittersweet, cathartic, feel-good are the three words I’d describe this film. I think it’s one of those that you need to see in your lifetime, particularly if you’re still young.

For me, it’s either you like it or you don’t. That depends on how much (SPOILER) gore you can take in. It got to a point where I didn’t like seeing it anymore however for it’s style, it was a good amount. Adding onto that, the style and character building was very fitting for the form of this plot.
