  I see the type of film it was trying to be and I'm sure in succeeded there, it just was a bit too dry for me to find it thrilling. I really didn't enjoy the plinky plonky (official phrase) score. Cate is always exquisite but at some points the accent faltered. I really hope Rege-Jean not is not the next Bond because I find his acting suitable for Bridgeton and Bridgeton alone, not a fan. A nice effort but Soderbergh's Presence still stands out to me as his triumph of this year.

  A really bold and interesting film, R Patz absolutely stole the show of course, what a performance. I think it was a super interesting beginning, lagged a bit in the middle then finished strong. I think a few plot lines were unnecessary and never really completed their arc, but I also don't know how much the text is loyal to the original book and was trying to service those characters. As far as sci-fis go, I'd say this was a pretty interesting telling.

  First time watching this movie ever and luckily it was playing at Cineworld. I had never even seen the trailer or knew the plot, I just had heard it spoke of in conversation with Severance so I had the smallest bit of an idea but for the first 20 minutes I was really waiting to understand what the story was. I think it was done super well and there was some extremely sweet moments like when they tried to hide…

  Not my kind of movie but you do have to be impressed at the scale and the spectacle. The score was very moving.
  I was most worried for the horses and I hope they're OK. I am surprised that by the end there were even any Scottish people left because they weren't very good at fighting and seemed to moon then get killed, seems like a bad battle strategy for me. Also, when the Prince's boyfriend got pushed out of a window, that was sad.
  I thought Mel's accent was good and also I liked his little plaits.
