the monster is homophobia, heteronormativity, and institutional bureaucracy.
i still wept throughout this second screening. so, so immensely moving and devastating, and meaningful.
discussed it in detail w mum (💗) and she introduced me to the interpretation that they had in fact died at the end … which i literally never considered until then and i started crying but i don’t think so … maybe though ….
