Beautiful Boy 2018
i went into this movie having gotten so much hype on tik tok that it was a gut wrenching ugly cry movie (ya i know tik tok doing her thing) and i would say that it definitely had a lot of emotion and heart in it that made me so feel for a lot of the characters. that being said i don’t think this one completely worked for me for a couple reasons.
i didn’t really fw the editing choices…

imagine my shock when i was crying my eyes out and my then out of nowhere the ARBYS WE HAVE THE MEAT COMMERCIAL MAN. pops out as one of the characters in this film. i spiraled .
(genuinely tho maybe it is because i haven’t had enough time to sit with it but i have no notes this film was gorgeous)
