Goofy and silly and delivered pretty well but disappointingly light on the creepy robot action, the narrative on children and technology and surveillance was interesting. M3GAN's speech at the end gave a Frankenstein-esque feel which elevated the character. I'd have preferred the 'How do you raise a Terminator doll to be your kid's guardian and how does it make the doll feel' thread to be more developed.
