  Had to rewatch. This movie is so hauntingly gorgeous and strikes such a deep chord in me that I can’t quite put my finger on. The whole movie feels like a held breath, each minute a hesitant step forward, everyone running away from each other and walking slowly back.

  I refuse to scroll Letterboxd reviews on this because I know I’ll find somebody giving it 1/2 stars and saying Stanton’s character is a Bad Guy and it’ll make me mad
