I understand the mixed reviews this film is getting. I actually did enjoy it a lot though. Is it Bong Joon Ho’s best work? No, but I do think the storytelling and character’s were done well. As for acting, I think this is Pattinson’s best acting - it’s clear to me he’s been studying the craft more since Good Time (and def since Twilight). Mark Ruffalo seemed to be channeling Trump for this role, and did a great job because I despised his character. Even more so, Toni’s role whose obsession with sauce making was pretty clever and so annoying at the same time.
