beautifully made, the dark and dreary reflected in every scene through the costume, acting, and cinematics. There was definitely a good balance of horror, creepiness, and storytelling. The acting from Lily-Rose Depo, Willem Dafoe, and Bill Skarsgaard all 10/10. No scene was too long, the story unfolded very well. I particularly loved the way all the scenes outdoors were shot/looked. Felt lots of inspiration from Tim Burton in this film- in the way Lily’s character looked and dressed & the way some scenes looked.
