The Souvenir 2019
The first third dragged on, by the middle I was pulled into the rhythm and I enjoyed the matter-of-fact (but by no means unemotional) tone. Feeling Julie and Anthony’s relationship stumble and descend was painful. I liked how much this movie felt like real life but I did feel detached from it at times so it didn’t resonate very deeply with me
