Most eventful feeling Robert Eggers movie, to the point where it feels abrupt at the end. I like the sincere over-the-topness of the acting, but I can see how viewer’s mileage might vary.

They didn’t spend much on this, but what they did went in to a couple large fiery explosions, and that’s a good thing to spend money on.

Starts off Not So Bad, but gets incomprehensible in the second half. Jared Leto’s fine, Matt Smith is a reasonable 90s villain, everybody else is asleep.
