  I’m Batman.

  I really enjoyed this. Damn. 
  The first act felt a little rushed to me - as do most films made 2018+ But after that, it was just beautiful to watch, it felt and moved like a story unlike trying to show off a superhero. They were VERY aware that the world would watch with unmerciful eyes and, at the same time, they exercised all the creative freedom they had. I respect and loved that.

  Passing 2021

  Watching this was like walking through a gallery and pausing for everything you see. It was glorious to look at, but the story was even better to listen to. 

  Most movies about black people during that time are always just throwing history and facts at us and the story isn’t quite there. But Passing tells the story of one mixed race woman and that’s it. We don’t need to know about the rest of the world to understand her, even though the world isn’t excluded. 

  Everything about this was beautiful.
