To describe Flow as simply cute or heartwarming is too reductive. With an ambient score somewhere between C418's Minecraft and the natural field recording of Rafael Toral's Spectral Evolution, Flow is at once a surrealist meditation on what's truly important and an uncomplicated story about a cat and its friends.
If this wins best animated feature at the oscars, they better bring the voice actors up on stage.

Not your average true-crime/psychological thriller, considering we never see the revolting videos and the movie is better for it.
The climax is viscerally invading as you, through the perspective of Kelly-Anne, finally make eye contact with Chevalier. This scene alone makes the movie worth watching. The screaming score and the details down to Kelly-Anne's fake retainer, elicits an oppressive physical response that can really only be noticed after you catch yourself saying "Jesus. Fucking. Christ."
The poker scenes, particularly the one at lunch, suck, but are a fair enough plot device.
