“illusions can’t come to reality”
themes, complexity, plot, pacing this movie has everything. the line of what’s real and what’s not is don’t like no other in this movie. i knew going into it black swan took a lot of inspo from this but i find that black swan couldn’t get quite to that level of depth like this did. i love both movies don’t get me wrong but this movie i think had a bigger impact on me.
black swan rewatch is needed now ig

…….. I didn’t cry to this film and I probably never will but I just feel so empty. The ending imo was definitely Laura ascending to the white lodge and not the black. She didn’t deserve any of this but she couldn’t help it, nobody could really and nobody cared before it was too late.
