Conclave 2024
Very aesthetic movie. I really enjoyed the look of everything. That means costumes, "sets", camera work, etc. I enjoyed the performances of everyone. I also enjoyed the story. However, I felt like the climatic reveal of the overarching drama was a bit underwhelming. I think it was with the watch, but not a necessary one.

Godzilla Minus One 2023
I thoroughly enjoyed this film. I watched dubbed, but even without original audio the quality of acting was clear. The visuals and cinematography were quite good, but considering that this movie had $10m budget, what they achieved is a miracle in today's movie landscape. There were some plot holes and moments where i didn't understand why some characters made some decisions, but ultimately this is a godzilla movie so I can let some stuff slide.

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga 2024
Great action, Good visuals (except for the occasional bad cgi shot), ok story, decent movie.
The action is the clear star of the show. Big chase scenes are what mad max is all about and on that they delivered.
This is a pretty movie with nice shots, vibrant colors, scenic locations, and tremendous design (costumes, sets, cars, etc). However, I noticed some awful looking cgi particularly early in the film. It looked like holograms had been plastered over scenic background…
