    Like many of the recent multiverse movies, The Flash serves to remind the viewer that they could be watching better adaptations of these characters. There’s better Batman adaptations, better Superman adaptations, better Flash adaptations (I don’t know if there’s a better Supergirl version). And the best thing about those adaptations is they don’t look like they were made on a PlayStation 2.

    The most important scene in both the novel and the original 1930 film adaptation is when Paul returns to his village after a year at war and has to reckon with the disillusionment and isolation he experienced on the Western Front. It’s the point where he sees his teacher give the same speech to the same idealistic kids that he once was that really makes the novel and film so impactful.     Yet another entry into the ‘Adam Driver’s character’ sucks universe! AKA the definitely don’t get into a romantic relationship in a movie with him universe.

It’s like on one hand you’ve got Austin Butler completely melting into the character of Elvis to the point where you could completely convince me that he is Elvis.
