  ★★★½ Rewatched 27 Feb 2025

  First of all, I like it.

  Second of all, a quote from DFW on Lynch: "the unconscious wasn't verbal but imagistic, and that whether the images were Realistic or Postmodern or Expresionism or surreal or what-the-hell-ever was less important than whether they felt true" - David Lynch keeps his head.

  Finally, I know it's contradictory to interpret a Lynch film, whether it is good interpretation or not, but it's clear for me now that this is a movie on dreams…

  Two and a half-star because it's a two and a half hour movie.

  Also, feel that the intention was to make a
  comment on the social hierarchy of the new capitalist-feudal societies that are developing.
  How the injustice and the explotation come not only from above, but how the social organisation makes the explotation between same groups (sex-workers) or just between an explotait group to another exploit group (the babysitter and the cleaning woman).
