Fun and a bit dumb with a lot of interesting vibes and cool visuals.
I’m a sucker for fiction set in “the real world” with hidden mystical elements so I’ve always liked this film. It actually reminds me a lot of another Keanu film series ‘John Wick’ in its secret unseen by regular people world building.
Funny coincidence that I just rewatched Constantine around its 20th anniversary. The VFX holds-up surprisingly well. I’m glad Constantine has reached “cult” status.

Fun! One of the better MCU movies recently and a bit of a known quality after the previous 2 Spider-Man films.
Unfortunately at this point the MCU references distract more than help the Spider-Man franchise in my opinion.
I didn’t actually dislike it but the multiverse stuff felt a bit too much like a nostalgic cash-in after Spider-Verse had a more creative spin on the concept.
A fun dumb blockbuster that plays it too safe and relies too heavily on fan service, nothing special or offensive. The main cast do wonderful job in spite of the script’s shortcomings.
Starts out a little A.D.D. for the first act and rushes a big reveal that could have been saved for more dramatic impact later in the film.
Sadly no iconic fight scene akin to the “red room” in TLJ even though the Knights of Ren finally get some…
