You can’t just like, remember a memory man.
Pretty decent spooks, but I don’t feel satisfied with the state of the lore on Pennywise. I imagine there’s more detail in the book.

The definitive Dracula movie. I love Eggers’ gothic style, felt like he was born to make this. Performances were all excellent. Big shoutout to Lily Rose Depp, and this has instantly become one of my favorite Willem Dafoe performances (which happens every time I see him in something).
This is an all-time sci fi great. Every minute of this movie is thrilling. It’s a terrifying odyssey, and a beautiful exploration of both the darkest and brightest places our love and need for each other as humans can take us. Not to mention a spectacle. The music has such a gravity and the visuals are dazzling. I first saw this with my brother in our hometown theater, which was lovable but somewhat dilapidated. I was every bit as awed then as I am now, after seeing it in its fully glory in IMAX.
