But this movie just gets more groundbreaking and intriguing when you look into how it was made, and the impact that it had. The director discussing his journey making the movie is the most exciting, scary investigative work i’ve heard in a while.

The Brutalist 2024
This movie is such an epic, and might be the best shot film I’ve seen this year. The film is so lived in, and you feel so present with the characters and setting. Adrian Brody does a phenomenal job, but if you’ve seen The Pianist you shouldn’t be surprised. Don’t know how I feel about the ending, but it definitely feels like the type of movie that warrants a re-watch. And even with its veeeeerrrryyyyy long runtime, i’m excited to see it again very soon.
