Is this really meant for kids? Every episode was a different flavor of emotionally devastating.
That said this is the best original work Pixar has put out in over a decade both narratively and stylistically.

Between this and The Black Phone, Scott Derrickson has been on a heater. Cinematography, action, atmosphere, romance, this was rad as hell.
If you think this is going to be a Sci-fi/action movie you’re going to be disappointed. If you think this is going to be a romance movie, you’re going to be disappointed. It’s both and I don’t think people appreciate how hard it is to do both and have both plot lines be compelling.
