Don't Look Up 2021
I can't help but wonder where the rest of the world is in the six months leading up to the arrival of the earth destroying comet. I guess that's not relevant. Although it is very american-centric, the absurdities depicted are universal for our times. Patriotic techno-capitalism tries but fails to be the hero. The star-studded cast seems unnecessary at times — looking at you Timothée! — but overall, it makes sense if the goal is to make as many people as possible "Look Up!".
