Son of Frankenstein 1939
It’s kind of crazy how much cultural significance the original Frankenstein trilogy had. Even this, which is my least favorite of the original three, with Ygor has had such much impact on not only Halloween but film and pop culture along with the more famous original and Bride of Frankenstein.

A B-Movie at heart with some A-list actors like Rathbone and Atwill, it’s kind of unbelievable that most people don’t know how this film has ingrained images of the holiday into pop culture.

Frankenstein 1931
Horror movie #2
I have already said too many great things about this film. It is truley a triumph of the screen and for everyone watching. Although there is barley a musical score, the way it is made is absolutely extraordinary. Five stars, two thumbs up. Up next, one of the greatest sequels, Bride of Frankenstein.Translated from by
