So unsure on how to feel about this movie. The cinematography is absolutely stunning, and the colour grading throughout is excellent. However (much like the original Dracula novel), once the movie leaves Romania it loses steam. At the beginning I was tensed up and nervous to watch, but despite the dark atmosphere, the serious tone and lack of any time to relax, I just did not find myself as effected. The performances were committed and commanding, and I was pleasantly surprised and intrigued by this interpretation of Count Orlok. Didn't know he would have that dawg in him though DAMN

Ok so this film is really something else. A very very bold move midway through which has to be commended even if it leaves you watching in utter confusion for the majority of the second half.

Well. This film had potential, but the mass amount of cliches really put me off. Polish Harrison Ford's character existed for real reason oter than exposition and then his accidental killing of the comedy relief character went nowhere and felt unsatisfying. The panning of the audio was uncomfortable to listen to although there were some pretty damn good practical effects (not including the instructor's head rolling out the window, that was terrible) and I have to say, the monster's had…
