  A Stormy Night 2020

  This is 1 really nice chamber play. Staring Jacob Perkins as an emotional New Yorker coder and the director, David Moragas, a spanish couchsurfer mysteriously appearing at the front steps on the eve of a stormy night. Tense environment, mindful conversation between the protagonists, nice camera perspectives  and the use of b/w makes this 77 minutes long movie really enjoyable - even due - or despite of - the lack of sex.

  Epic first part of a space opera with stunning visual effects and beautiful esthetics. Great acting and interesting focus on some characters of the storyline. Round up by impressive sound.

  Also, I am really satisfied how important elements like Spice or the Bene Geseret are introduced.

  But for two and a half hours movie, the cliffhanger feels kinda forced and a bit arbitrary - which surely is related to length of the first book which makes it hard to bring it to screen. Overall, great movie, hoping for the next part.
