  I agree broadly with Paul A's review, they make a lot of important points, although I don't know why they had to use the pronoun "one" quite so many times.

  But I think there's a simpler and more fundamental criticism to be made of Light, which would hold true even if the socio-economic factors Paul rightly criticizes were somehow corrected for: there are no people in this film. There's no life at all. There's nothing *real*! Maybe Tsai feels something…
