  Rewatched this in direct response to the Four Nations loss and it did not disappoint. My third (maybe second) favorite sports movie ever and is gonna hit so hard come February 2026. Mark Johnson with an outstanding MVP performance - 2 goals and not a single line of dialogue to shut up the Soviets go USA!!

  I’ve never been more tense watching a movie and I loved every second of it. The only thing I’m still questioning is why Josh Peck was in this and if he was gonna be in it, why didn’t we get any Josh-isms? “This bomb is gonna be nuclear…NUCLEAR!!”

  Two hours and 44 minutes of pure adrenaline, anxiety, and awe.

  I also didn’t realize how much Cruise is full out sprinting in these movies and it’s kinda fun to imagine my friend Ethan sprinting instead I bet he’d look just as cool.
