    This should have hit an easy home-run with me, an enormous and very forgiving Fargo maniac. Unfortunately, it did nothing for me. I feel that it did very little to visit the cultural relevance of its themes on either side of the Pacific (the first act is set in Tokyo and the second in Minnesota, it underused both).

    I was also hoping for a symbolic and thematically rich modern tale. It doesn't do this which is fair enough artistically, but…
