Slow and sloppy, it didn’t generate any tension or interest until the last 15 minutes. Hardly enough to rescue it.

YouTube has this under the title, “Dead Men’s Treasure”. An unusual zombie tale about under water zombies guarding a sunken ship with a cask of diamonds that belonged to a lost religion. The acting is bad to over the top but it’s an interesting story and manages a good atmosphere.

It could have been better/ it could have been worse. What it is a crazy, funny, bloody story about a bad relationship presented as a vampire story.

A curious early work of Hitchcock. No suspense, no mystery, a little of Hitch’s humor, all propelling the story of a  married couple’s vacation voyage and its effects on their marriage. Interesting for Hitchcock fans.
