Sometimes shit just hits you. I felt this one. The writing was so spot on. Just really connected with the tension and the bond between these two characters. Also the ending just got me.

Requiem for a Dream 2000
This film really fucked up my day. I know it sounds bad, but for a film to have that much of an impact is a good thing. Your heart breaks for each one of these characters. There are some incredible shots and editing in play that suck you into the film. For example, when each of the three characters take drugs the repeated images and split screens really bring a tactile nature to that experience. I highly recommend this film, but with the caveat of the ending being absolutely devastating.
