  “Not yet but im getting there” as ironic as it is I watched this in a drug court class. I’ve struggled with substance abuse for years but finally getting completely clean so I understood a lot of characters in this more than even my favorite movies

  This was so much better this 2nd time watching it, I love it! Definitely my favorite dialogue in any movie I’ve seen and some of the most entertaining scenes. I literally loved everything about this movie this 2nd time and understood it WAY more. And now this 2nd time watching it unlike the 1st I can confirm the acid visuals on everyone’s faces in the beginning are realistic asf.

  “It’s funny like that in the hood sometimes”
  I personally love how realistic this movie is, I know there’s the Scorsese gangster movies that show all the gangster with plenty of money and a somewhat decent life but this film shows the realism of being a black male in the 90s after the 1992 LA riots and shows how easy it is to turn to that life style, I also love how it shows the true struggle of black male teens in that time, this film also shows how that life style can make and break everyone around you.
