this film cemented my 180 on Timothee Chalamet. may have been the perfect casting for something that starts out as an intriguing "how bad could it possibly be" watch, that slowly reveals itself to be a tongue-in-cheek, 2 hour, enjoyable romp.
the pacing is a little weird, it also feels like it kind of forgets that it was a musical around Act III. but, even so, character performances and visual spectacle tend to carry me through the meandering parts.
