The ultimate ultra-corporate movie. It takes a nostalgic pop culture product and fills it with pure tryhard inclusive bullshit solely for the purpose of making profit. It doesn't even attempt to deliver a message or to make a point, it strips away its essence completely with a mindless plot and bland character development only to please the expectations of the consumers, not the fans.
JJ Abrams is such a talentless hack, his mystery-box method is so flawed it takes away every expectation from the spectator, twisting the movie into something predictable and souless, because that's exactly what this film is.
