This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
This was the first film I've watched for the first time that I've given 5 stars to since December 2023. I honestly did not realise I had such a long drought of excellent films for that long.
Anora is genuinely incredible though. It was a truly unique film and watching this in a movie theatre was legitimately one of the best experiences I ever had.

David Lynch has been my favourite director ever since December 2020, when I first watched Mulholland Drive.
It's hard to state just how much appreciation I have for his work and how he has impacted the medium of film and television. I've seen Twin Peaks 4 times, Mulholland Drive 7 times, and most of his other movies at least twice.

I'm Thinking of Ending Things 2020
This movie has gaslighted me in a way no other form of media ever has. Watching this feels like the reoccuring dream I have where I need to run away from danger, but my legs won't move as freely as I need them to.
The movie is worth seeing for this experience alone, but even past that there is still much to appreciate with just how well constructed this movie is with its call backs, dynamic camera cuts, the performances and the long slow excruciating burn that feels like it goes on forever.
