Dune: Part Two 2024
The lack of Thurfir Hawat and economic elements like CHOAM and the Guild was slightly disappointing, but the adaptation overall felt incredibly faithful to the spirit of the novel. I felt a greater sense of existential dread after leaving the theater than I did upon closing the book. Dune Part Two delivers even greater and further on the core theme of prophecy and mankind’s myth making ability than even Herbert does. A testament to incredible filmmaking.
