  Witnessing the scope and scale, I imagine this is what it must have felt like watching There Will Be Blood in theaters. My only wish is that I had caught on sooner whose perspective the story was told from. 

  I recommend this to cinephiles, not civilians.

  Talk about a film that lives rent-free in my mind and soul. No movie has better articulated my faith, wrestling with doubt and silence while fully recognizing God‘s faithfulness in my weakness and depravity. Institutions, political and religious are dangerous tools. Culture is significant, but it does not define or sanctify our humanity. Be still and know that He is Lord.

  Today is my Dad's birthday. He was married at 21 and had me at 23. There's a lot of love and a lot of learning at that young of an age.

  Do fewer drugs, and buy more rugs.
