I probably don't like this as much as I am supposed to. It is good and I did enjoy it but it seems a little silly that the parents of the murdered child don't later find it odd that a serial killer was at dinner with them the day their kids were killed, once he is found to be a killer. At least some reasonable doubt. Once the guards know, it doesn't seem like it would be that hard to at least clear his name after the fact, if he truly wants to die.

This was not a bad set up and keeps you interested. The problem is it gets a little silly with the whole reluctant hero thing. A reluctant leader needs to commit at some point. This guy is bossy to people but never takes the job. By the end it is very easy to side with the bad guy, who is only bad because, well he is written that way. You could make this a vigilante revenge movie very easily here…
