There's apparently a Conjuring cinematic universe, who knew? And this is the second movie I've now watched that's a part of that. But what I didn't expect was Nun2 to be a feminist masterpiece -- we love women working together to help other women to beat a woman to save a man using body parts of a woman.
Another thing I didn't expect was to spend the majority of the movie thinking wait is that Susan Pevensie? And then after seeing the end credits, finding out Sister Irene is the daughter from AHS Murder House.
As good as the movie is, the one thing that kept niggling at my mind was how they changed ballister's introduction.
The graphic novel is the graphic novel and the movie is the movie and each of them should be judged on their own merits and all that. But the fact that I kept thinking about that change all through the movie, I guess, means that, at least for me, this wasn't the best movie the movie could have been.

No but for real. It was honestly worth skipping out on Spiderman to have world heroes' mission be the first movie since the summer of 2019 I watch in a cinema hall bc bby izuku is a better Spiderman than Tom Holland.
Each mha movie has been better than the previous and so world heroes' mission is the best of the three so far. The action animation is breathtaking. The emotions…
Personally the most unrealistic thing in this movie is that Anne Hathaway packs a bag, goes to the airport and arrives at Seoul some inderminate amount of time later. Like, I can't imagine a world where people don't have to camp outside an embassy and wait for months to get their visa approved. must be nice.
