"Dragon" was a decent watch—kept me hooked till the end. But that climax? Way too forced just to make us sympathize with the hero.
Mysskin nailed his role!
Officer on Duty is neatly written and directed, but it couldn’t make much impact as the thriller genre with elements of sexual violence feels almost saturated. However, a few scenes really stood out — like Kubo smashing the head of the druggie baddie Celine twice: once in the hospital scene and again during the climax — undeniably satisfying moments!
"Daaku Maharaj" is a commercial flick that proudly leaves logic at the door. It’s so well-directed and choreographed that even a mannequin in sunglasses could’ve been the hero—and honestly, that might’ve made no difference. So yeah, even Balayya couldn’t derail this one with his acting. Thaman’s background score is so intense it feels like that meme where a musician plays a piano on fire—except here, the piano explodes and the audience leaves with their eardrums permanently bass-boosted. Pure cinematic chaos.
Never thought a Balayya movie would be one of my recent favorites among the commercial films I’ve watched in a while.
