Wont review this one because it wasn’t for me. It felt juvenile compared to the rest and tried to be artistic and poetic to a fault (IMO). The subject matter is of course sad, but told through this lens/subject/medium just didn’t connect with me at all. Sorry.

This was my fav. Well structured, personal, important. I enjoyed learning about this snippet of life and history. Also, very little if any repeated shots/footage. I appreciate that.

A simple, fun, heartwarming story told beautifully 💛

I feel like this struck a good balance between saying “patriarchy is real and sucks” and that men are “kenough” whilst also having excellent sets, costumes, cinematography/coloring, and more. Not a 10/10 because it felt a tad long/repetitive and you could honestly take out most of the Mattel bits.
