  once the water breaks, it gets good. erotic and ridiculously excessive. if you’re just after that you might be a little disappointed. it’s not prom night. there’s a lot more here about the tail end of the 70s, lower class frustrations, relationships, and violence. it’s executed horribly, but it is there and it delays the nasty shit by about 50 minutes.
