it starts as a fever dream, visions engulfed into darkness, horny in the worst way, insane and nightmarish. the movie lost me in its pace, i lost my initial fervor seeing its storytelling setting itself comfortably into a very literal, even flat tone. thinking along the way that it could have just been more disgusting, crazy and uneasy. nonetheless i loved being plagued by the visions for christmas, lily-rose depp was such a sight to behold. what a great year for vampire lovers
