  Even if I didn't like Bright Nights very much, I'm fine with the International Jury's decision to award the Silver Bear to Georg Friedrich. Georg Friedrich is very well known in Austria and among Cinephiles in Germany, but unknown to an international audience. I've seen him the first time in Ulrich Seidl's Hundstage (Dog Days) and have been following bis work since.
