One of my favourites of David Fincher and one that’s constantly being rotated in my rewatches.
Gone Girl is a suspenseful dark thriller with a gripping story and an outstanding performance from its cast. Reading the book when it was published in 2012, it really stuck with me and I couldn’t put it down. This adaptation is faithful to its source material and leaves you reeling all the same.

Brokeback Mountain 2005
This film was gut wrenching, depressing and beautiful all at the same time.
The characters of Ennis and Jack were very well written, they were just so effortless and authentic. It felt like you were watching two lost souls fall in love and always finding their way to one another, despite where their own personal journeys took them. The cinematography was gorgeous and the moving score really added to this heartfelt story. Brokeback Mountain will leave you reeling with emotions.
