  bruh I'm sitting here watching this and I'm like: "hey! I just watched Georgia Rule and Lindsays actress was in it!!" then I'm like, "omg the dealership guy was in it too! suspicious.." and THEN the same motel showed up and I was like...is this by the same director and it IS!!! this was by complete accident omg how fun is that!!!

  anyways this movie was really sweet and fun and heartwarming and the soundtrack was amazing and I love Kate Hudson dearly like that's my wife fr 🩷

  now why was this movie so good??
  the way it has perfect, beautiful small town summer vibes (like the Hannah Montana movie & because of Winn-Dixie) but also features such serious subject matter and showcases complicated mother-daughter relationships is so crazy but somehow works.
  I loved how Rachel wasn't the 'perfect victim' and was instead a complicated and flawed person who was dealing with her trauma in a messy way. It may not be the perfect movie, but I feel like…
